Los angeles Birth Doula
Feeling seen, Listen to, Supported, and Informed is essential for birth...
As a birth doula I enter your birth space with deep respect and a quiet presence. I move with the flow of your birth, adapting to the energy of the room while ensuring that nothing interrupts your experience. Some moments will be powerful and intense, others will be soft and still. My role is to hold space for all of it, preserving the details you may not even realize are unfolding—the way your hands grip for support, the quiet strength in your eyes, the first time your baby looks up at you.
A doula ensures you’re never left navigating this journey alone.

Having a Doula by your side means...
Continuous Emotional & Physical Support
You will have my unwavering presence throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—including comfort, encouragement, and hands-on techniques that reduce stress and increase confidence.
Evidence-Based Guidance & Advocacy
I will help you make informed choices by sharing trusted information, explaining options, and supporting your birth preferences—bridging the gap between medical teams and your family.
A Calmer, Empowered Birth Experience
With my support, families often experience shorter labors, less intervention, and greater satisfaction—transforming your birth into a more positive and memorable journey.
MY Approach…
Birth is one of the most raw, transformative moments in life. It’s intense, unpredictable, deeply personal—and completely awe-inspiring. I have spent the last 12 years witnessing and documenting birth, not just as a photographer and videographer, but as someone who is endlessly fascinated by the human experience of bringing life into the world. I love babies, I love the process of birth, and I love the way it transforms people. Birth is not just about the moment a baby is born—it’s about witnessing someone step into a new version of themselves. If you invite me into your birth space, I promise to hold it with the care and reverence it deserves, so that years from now, you can look back and remember just how powerful you were.
love notes from families
Diana was our doula, and I recommend her strongly to first time fathers. I never would have thought that my wife and I would want pictures of the birthing experience. We are gracious that Diana knew that we might – she thought to bring her camera and she captured:
1) My tears of joy that flowed when our boy was born.
2) The magic of the first look of our son into his mother’s eyes.
3) My smile the first time I held him.
Meet with several doulas and several photographers before you make your decision – and then choose Diana!

I found Diana on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her work! Little did I know I’d be getting more than these priceless photos of such a special moment. Having Diana as a part of my birth team made my home birth so much more meaningful. Her energy was genuine, calm, sweet, and assertive…she flowed around the birth scene so effortlessly. I’m 3 months postpartum and she checks on me often. I can say that I’ve gained a friendship in Diana when I thought I’d only be getting birth photos. Her work is amazing, and her heart is genuinely sweet!

Diana is far and away the best family photographer that we have experienced. I have 4 very active boys and she made beauty out of the seeming chaos. She takes the time to really SEE the person and then captures it on the screen. She is patient, very funny, professional and so loving that we naturally felt at ease. And the most important thing is that our photos are INCREDIBLE. Seriously I can not recommend her enough. SHE IS THE BEST!

I am a certified birth and post-partum Doula with the midwives of The Sanctuary Birth and Family Wellness Center. I hold a Master’s Degree of Science in Digital and Photographic Imaging from The University of Westminster in London, UK. I am also an Accredited Professional Birth Photographer since 2020 and a Certified Massage Therapist and Energy Worker since 2024.

I am on-call for you 24/7 starting at 38 weeks of your pregnancy. Please let me know whenever there is a change or you feel you might soon go into labor. Even if you think it is early, I’d rather have extra time to get my family ready and navigate my way through the Los Angeles traffic.
-
I will join you when you are in active labor and stay with you throughout your birth, no matter how long it takes; if you are birthing at the hospital and at some point decide to have an epidural, I will step out and rest close by until it is time to meet your baby.
-
Yes! I will meet you at the hospital and help you prepare mentally and emotionally.
While in the OR and if the hospital allows it, I will be right next to you and your partner. After the birth of your baby, I will take pictures of you and your family bonding and the arrival of any family members who might join you to meet your baby immediately after birth. -
